Avoid This One Thing To Boost Your Creative Energy

1. Don't think. Creating a story or book has little to do with the intellect or language when we first begin. Our best ideas will emerge as a spark or image. Like dreams, they will make little sense. Followed, they will hold the key to the creative unconscious.

2. Creativity is cyclical. You cannot and will not be creative all the time. What is full must empty and what is empty will fill. Creativity has its own internal rhythms. Learn to listen to yours.

3. Nothing kills creativity faster than criticism. Don't share your work-in-progress with people who are critical or those whose opinions leave you vulnerable, no matter how much you love them. Good critiquing should leave you inspired, not deflated.

4. Spend time listening to your inner critic. He or she is not comfortable with the risks demanded by a creative endeavor. By becoming aware of the foul jabber of your inner critic, you can see how your own mind puts up roadblocks to your creativity.

5. Being a creator is risky business. Don't underestimate the tremendous emotional and psychic risks the journey demands. Learn to push ahead even when you are afraid. Learn to love the risk.

6. Don't be afraid to fail. Every successful creator has failed hundreds of times. Failure is an integral part of Creativity. It doesn't mean you're wrong or stupid. It only means you've uncovered a path or technique that does not work.

7. Don't be afraid to write garbage. Every successful writer writes mounds of garbage. Give your work time to percolate. Play the What If game. For example, if you're writing fiction and a characters is sweet and loving and you're stuck, have the character mean and hateful. In the world of the imagination, anything can happen.

8. Nurture your creativity. It is as fragile as a budding flower. Open to the dance. Listen to music that makes you feel like flying. Go for a walk. Laugh with a friend, child or lover. Creativity is about feeling.

9. Be passionate. is passionate. Passion is always creative.

10. Learn your craft. And write, write, write! The more you write, the better you will get. Discipline yourself. Successful writers are disciplined writers.

Using the Law of Attraction to Bring in More Money

Use the Law of Attraction to Find Your Ideal Partner

The law of attraction is at work in every single human relationship. Using the law of attraction to our benefit, we can attract our ideal partner. First, you must visualize and imagine the type of mate you seek: everything from looks to intelligence to personality to interests. This will create space in your heart, and in your life, for that special someone to eventually materialize.

Let the Universe do its Work

In utilizing the law of attraction, not only do you have to be clear about what you desire in an ideal mate, but you also must be very clear about what you want in life, generally speaking. What is important to you? To find the one whos right for you, you first must know yourself and your deepest desires in life. The law of attraction then sets the stage for inserting your soul mate into your overarching life picture. If youre not clear about yourself and your life goals, then the law of attraction doesnt have the energy it requires to set the universe in motion to nudge your true partner into your life. By knowing who you are and what you want, the law of attraction acts as a magnet for drawing that special someone toward you--someone who is already aligned with your energies.

Sometimes who we thought was the right person doesnt work out. Do not give up on the law of attraction! Often this is because you or your partner is still growing and changing. Perhaps you were perfect for one another during a specific time in your lives, but now you have grown apart. Be grateful for the good times you did have together, but dont force yourself to cling to something that has no chance of working. Life is always evolving.

But dont be too quick to give up on a relationship. You must be able to differentiate between a relationship truly not being able to work and trivial discord. Sometimes disharmony within a relationship stems from negative feelings affecting the law of attraction. If you are harboring negative thoughts about your partner, the law of attraction is manifesting discord in your relationship! If you are behaving in a hateful manner, the law of attraction will render your partner hateful toward you. Rather, you should communicate honestly and politely with your partner, and back up your clear communication with positive thoughts. Visualize the ideal person that you know your partner is capable of being instead of the sour person he or she has been lately. Behave in a loving manner toward your partner, and soon your partner will radiate love right back to you. The law of Attraction will bestow the perfect partner upon you!

What Good Is Prayer When It Comes To Your Health?

Spirituality can be an important aspect in your life. Taking certain steps in defined areas can produce great results. Please be aware that for our purposes we are not speaking of religion, but rather spirituality. The former being more process oriented and the latter being more concentrated on your own personal relationship with your own choice, recognition and relationship of whatever Higher Power is most acceptable to you.

Naturally, you may call your Higher Power whatever you want to, Natural Force, God, Force of the Universe. More important than the name or label you attach is your the degree of connection and willingness to make use of such an energy and allow it into in your life.

Here are some basic tips to help you improve your spiritual self as well as help you develop a more solid connection with your own life and your part in the spiritual world. Please know that spirituality, just like Rome, was not built in a day. Work on spiritual aspects of your life gradually and consistently. Doing it this way keeps you from being overwhelmed.

Have a quiet time for meditation

As much as possible, try to establish a place and time where you could spend a quiet moment in the morning or during the evening. Ten to fifteen minutes is all it takes. This is also a good time to assess goals or to simply focus and quiet the mind. Your mind needs some personal space too.

Praying is a form of meditation. Having a short meditation phrase helps you focus on your breathing instead of any random thoughts that may come and go in your mind.

Attend a service worship

The point of the matter is involved with like minded people. There are those people who prefer to spend time alone and focus on their spirituality and those who prefer to spend time with people while working on developing their spirituality. Give both a try.

Form connections with people.

You could try singing in a church choir or joining a hobby club. For some of us, having positive relationships and interaction with different people puts them at ease.

Keep your mind active, keep learning

It is always never too late to improve your mind. The mind is like a sponge. Make sure you continually feed it. You could do so by attending some classes at your nearest community college. You can start engaging in a study book group or just by reading books and watching DVD's related to mental health, spiritual concepts or self-help books.

Get healthy

Being physically healthy is always better and feels so good compared to leading an unhealthy lifestyle. Being fit and engaging in an appropriate diet helps keep the body toned and privdes a clearer and more receptive mind.

Have fun

I like this part. Believe it or not, being spiritual does not only mean being serious all the time. In a paradoxical way, being spiritual allows you the freedom to not take yourself too seriously.

You may also indulge in some hobby or activity for the simple fun of it. You could start by exploring sports, hobbies or whatever it is that gets you excited.

Help other people out

For some people, doing some volunteer activities or doing some acts of random kindness works best to help them become more spiritual. Helping someone out out not for some ulterior motive makes people feel good inside. This is a situation where everyone is a winner.

Stop judging

This is hard because everyone makes judgements all the time. In judging someone or something you really are comparing them to your own standards. If they are fall below your standards you can look down on them and feel better than them. If they exceed your ideas you could feel inferior. This is a lose-lose situation.

Give thanks

There is quite a lot to be thankful for . When you discover the many wonderful things that life has to offer, and appreciate what even more possibilities.

Again, try to practice each day appreciating an aspect in your life you know you are grateful for. Thank the universe for another day to spend and another day to make yourself, your life, or others lives better.

See things objectively

Paradoxically, seeing things objectively helps in developing your spirituality. There may be times when we live seeing life with rose-colored glasses. We then become frustrated when the world does not fails to see that only our view matters.

The world is at it is, most things are beyond our control. The world is what you are, and what you perceive it to be. All in all, developing your takes time and effort. The rewards however, for the time invested are limitless

The Secret Motivation Strategy That Never Fails

Want a new motivation technique that works quickly and easily? In this article you will discover a simple motivation technique you can start using right away.

No matter how much you want to make your dreams come true you still need some practical ways to keep yourself motivated over the long term. You need the ability to keep going in the face of setbacks, disappointments and short-term frustrations. i.e. a motivation technique that works.

Thankfully there is a simple and very powerful way to stay focused and highly motivated. Are you ready for a personal breakthrough?

1. Determine The Reasons Why You Want To Attain The Goal

Write down on paper the reasons why you want to succeed. List at least 50 reasons. This will take you 10 minutes of brainstorming. Just write down whatever pops into your head. Write as quickly as you can and keep going until you have a list of 50 great reasons.

(Dont be fooled by how simple this motivation technique is)

2. Pick Out The Top 5 Reasons

Scan the list of reasons why you want to achieve your goal and pick out the reasons which have the most emotional charge for you. i.e the ones you feel strongly about. These are the reasons which will keep you motivated when obstacles show up.

And as you read over the top 5 reasons you may way feel a smile on your face and you will feel a new surge of motivation. This is the basis of this motivation technique - tap into the emotions that drive you.

3. Each Day Review The Top Reasons

On a daily basis take a moment to review the top 5 reasons why you want to achieve the goal. Read over the list and make sure to notice how you feel. These reasons move you emotionally because they are so important to you. When you feel strongly about these reasons motivation will be automatic.

Let me give you an example of how to use this motivation technique..

John wants to double his income but feels too overwhelmed at work to even concentrate on ways to earn more. He takes 10 minutes on his lunch break to scribble 50 reasons why he wants to double his income. Then he picks out the top 5 reasons - the ones that really move him emotionally.

What does he discover? The prospect of having more dollar signs does not inspire him to earn more but the following reasons do inspire him:

1. Feel more appreciated and respected by my wife

2. Become more successful in my career

3. Fulfill my potential at last

4. Get that top of the range car Ive always wanted

5. Give more money to local charities

As a result John now has a sense of purpose that drives him to do all he can to achieve his goal.

The same applies to you...

When you tap into why you want to achieve you goals, on a daily basis, you will find the true source of your motivation.

Now get using this simple yet powerful motivation technique!

Get Out Of The Communication Stone Age: Give Leadership Talks

160 years ago, the newly invented electric telegraph carried the first news message. The message zipped 40 miles in a flash over wires from Baltimore to Washington, D.C.

The public was dazzled -- except Henry David Thoreau. He wrote: We are in great haste to construct a magnetic telegraph from Maine to Texas; but Maine and Texas, it may be, have nothing important to communicate.

Today, we live in a Golden Age of communication. We have the Internet. We have faxes. We have e-mails. We have streaming video. We have on-line audio. We have RSS feeds. We have logs and blogs.

Yet today Thoreau is as right as rain. When it comes to really getting our messages across, we're stuck in the Stone Age.

Here's why. The vast majority of business leaders I've encountered are repeatedly making a huge mistake in communication, a mistake that's screwing up their jobs and careers. They're stuck giving presentations and speeches. They're NOT giving Leadership Talks!

What's a Leadership Talk? Look at it this way: There's a hierarchy of verbal persuasion when it comes to business leadership. The lowest levels are speeches and presentations. They communicate information. The highest, most effective way of communicating is the Leadership Talk. The Leadership Talk does more than simply send information. It has the leader establish a deep, human, emotional connection with the audience. That's where leaders communicate for the best results.

Here are a few examples of leadership talks. When Churchill said, We will fight on the beaches ... That was a leadership talk. When Kennedy said, Ask not what your country can do for you ... that was a leadership talk. When Reagan said, Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall! That was a leadership talk.

You can come up with a lot of examples too. Go back to those moments when the words of a leader inspired people to take ardent action, and you've probably put your finger on an authentic leadership talk.

Mind you, I'm not just talking about great leaders of history. I'm also talking about all leaders everywhere no matter what their function or rank. After all, leaders speak 15 to 20 times a day: everything from formal speeches to informal chats. When those interactions are leadership talks, not just speeches or presentations, the effectiveness of those leaders is dramatically increased.

That's where business leaders communicate for the best results. You can order people to go from point A to point B. But the best way to get great results is to have people want to go from A to B. Instilling want to in others, motivating them ... isn't that what great leadership is all about?

Don't get me wrong. The Leadership Talk is not some kind of feel-good way of relating. It took me 20 years to figure out how to give Leadership Talks and write two books about it. There are specific processes one must manifest in order to give Leadership Talks. Usually it takes me two full days to teach people how to do it. Once they learn it, they can use it throughout the rest of their careers. The Leadership Talk is relatively easy to learn and it takes years to master. The point is that through it, you can take specific, concrete steps to motivate people to take action that gets great results.

For instance, before leaders can develop and deliver a Leadership Talk, they must first answer yes to three simple questions: Do you know what the audience needs? Can you transfer your deep believe to others so they believe as strongly as you do about the challenges you face? And can you have that audience take ardent action that gets results? If leaders no to any one of those questions, he/she can't give a Leadership Talk.

160 years ago the dots and dashes that chattered down the wires from Baltimore to Washington spelled out that the Whigs had nominated Henry Clay to run for the presidency.

Back then, Thoreau might have said nothing important was communicated; but today if you want to lead for great results, take Thoreau to heart. Communicate what truly IS important. Don't give presentations and speeches. Give Leadership Talks. Forge those deep, human, emotional connections with your audiences. Get them motivated to take ardent action for great results.

How They Became Stars

In order to achieve success, you have to have specific goals so that success comes naturally. And how does it come naturally? It comes from one of the greatest books of all time, the BIBLE - (Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth) and seeking Gods kingdom first in everything that we do.

The Bible is the solid rock foundation of goal setting and achieving success and is not silent in presenting all the knowledge, understanding and wisdom that is required for everyone to achieve success naturally. Look at the book of Ecclesiastes it states that If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. Ecclesiastes 10:10 - KJBV. What is being stated here? This scripture applies that one must have faith in what he/she believes in which is the strength to get the success in which one is seeking. This also applies to any task that you are preparing for. When one applies preparation to the task, it will be easier and not cause hardship. Wisdom is like sharpened metal it accomplishes its purpose well because it is sharp and penetrating. When this happens then it is successful. A Success scripture to live by!

So what is true success? Is their a standard? The answer to this question is yes, there is true success and there is a standard of Godly success that lines up with scriptures and proven principles that will assist us in achieving success naturally like God intended for it to be.

SUCCESS TIP:
One of the laws and principles for success is an ATTITUDE of GODLY service towards others. This is the same principle Jesus applied everyday and it still applies today and it doesnt matter what position or business you are in. In other words have the attitude with the heart to give (A Godly Principle) rather than a heart to get (A Worldly Principle). Seek Gods kingdom first in everything that you do.

GOALS, VISION, TRUST AND FAITH.... Equals SUCCESS naturally

Weight Loss Motivation Tips and Strategies!

It's true, when most of us think of the need to lose weight,
we think in terms of aesthetics, or how we look?

Our weight loss motivation is to imagine what we would look
like if we could just lose 20lbs.

Unless we are stricken by illness, or told by our doctor to
lose weight now, our weight loss goals tend to be to look better,
feel better, attract more love and sex into our lives, gain
social or career advantages, or defeat the effects of natural
aging.

Indeed, this is the motivation for the majority of weight loss
products and services that create a massive impact on the market.

The reality though is that we should also view being overweight
as a strong risk factor for disease and ailments.

There are many diseases that have proven links with being
overweight including: heart disease, forms of cancer, high
blood pressure, auto-immune diseases such as arthritis, and
emotional diseases such as depression - just to name a small
few.

It's time that we expand our view on how important succeeding
at weight loss is in terms of overall health and base our
weight loss motivation on more than just looking better.

You control your ability to significantly lower the risk of
disease in your life.

That should be an extremely powerful motivation behind succeeding
at your weight loss program.

It does take some work though, since our nature is to focus on
the immediate or short term gratification - which is our looks.

If your weight loss program has proved unsuccessful, perhaps
you have been using the wrong sources for motivation? Try
spending some time learning about the impact on your overall
health and longevity of succeeding with your weight loss goals.

That may just be the hidden weight loss you needed to
get over the hump!

25 Leadership Maxims

The vast majority of leadership training available to managers focuses primarily on skill and behaviors: how to delegate, how to communicate, how to manage conflict. These skills are unquestionably important and necessary. However, we maintain there is another important ingredient that has been severely neglected in leadership training, that ingredient is character. Leadership character and its qualities is the focus of our new book and workshop: Qualities of Leadership.

In 340 B.C. Aristotle began describing a series of principles that have been embraced in both western and eastern cultures. A thorough understanding of these ideas enables a leader to think and act with greater clarity and effectiveness causing people to voluntarily follow the leaders direction and example. We believe that sound character has the greatest impact on leadership success. Leaders simply attract people, ideas, circumstances, opportunities, and resources that are in harmony with their core thoughts and being.

A leader can never achieve greatness and success on the outside unless he or she has developed fundamental qualities on the inside. Behavior decisions and choices are all a reflection of our inner world. Unfortunately managers can unintentionally get caught in the competitive win at any cost mentality or the greedy more for me line of thinking. This can derail the careers of most intelligent people. We read all about it every day in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and Forbes, manager who abused their trust of the community, customers, regulators or employees.
It happens in the sales, research, or in operations from the executive suites to the front lines. Successful business thrives on sound character, values, and principles more than laws, regulations and fines.

Most leaders would never plunder their company, rip off investors, cook the books, or ride on the safety of others by taking short cuts. But leaders can violate character principles in smaller ways like:

X making a commitment and not seeing it through
X not honestly saying what you really think
X shying away from bad news that need to be shared with employees
X not telling your boss or peers the whole story
X not accepting accountability
X not giving employees full credit for a success or idea
X Playing games and manipulating rather than straight up negotiating

Leadership Training that focuses on character, values, and principles help bring balance to the practice of Leadership. It helps leaders build lasting and productive relationships that unleash employee motivation and help leaders who want to bust down the status quo and build an innovative culture.

What is happiness?

Happiness is the primary need of all of us. All of us want to be happy and avoid pain. The beginning of any relationship also depends upon how happy we are with each other. But we also derive happiness from what we achieve on our own. An engineer is very happy when designs something very well. So is a homemaker who she manages to cook something that is loved by every family member. We all derive happiness in many ways. Sometimes making others feel happy makes us happy. Sometimes walking amongst and marveling at the nature makes us happy.

Some people are very happy playing with children. Everybody has something, which makes him/her happy. How do you feel happy? What makes you happy? I feel happy if my clothes are right. If anything goes wrong with my clothes, I feel very unhappy. We all have such fancies and these fancies make us human. This way people get happiness in many ways.

What if we begin depending on our partner to make us happy? How does that affect our relationship? 'If you buy me good presents, I feel happy. If you take care of my emotional needs, I am happy. If you show that you love me, I am happy. My happiness essentially depends on how you make me happy. It is your duty to do that. If you are not making me happy, you are erring. You are breaking the relationship. You are running away from your responsibility.' What if somebody takes this attitude?

Such an attitude will surely make your partner very unhappy and will kill the relationship soon. Happiness is a two way street. Make him/her happy and give him/her a chance to make you happy. Let both of you show care for each other. Before asking for from others, we must learn to feel happy ourselves.

Leadership Training and Character

If you were to build a house, you would begin with a blueprint. This blueprint proves useful because it contains more than directions on how to build a house. It also describes the finished house.

So, what does this have to do with leadership?

Last month I asked an audience of leaders to tell me the characteristics of an ideal leader. Their answers were (in the order collected):

A good listener, enthusiasm, passion, shows appreciation, a visionary, role model, trusting, integrity, organized, knowledgeable, credibility, persuasive, charisma, team building, clarity of purpose, problem solver, attitude of service, leads by example, patience, willing to act without complete knowledge, understands followers, consistent, empowers other people, and adapts to change.

I'll add that this is essentially the same list that I receive from other audiences when I ask this question. From this comes some useful insights.

1) Notice what the list contains. All of these characteristics relate to the human side of leadership. That's interesting because I often hear people minimize this side of leadership with terms like "soft" or "touchy feely." Actually, applying these characteristics requires more strength than not.

2) Notice what the list excludes. Absent from this list (and all lists from other programs) are characteristics such as stern, mean, serious, short tempered, vindictive, tough, angry, harsh, punitive, controlling, violent, or ruthless. And that's interesting because many popular representations of leadership emphasize at least one of these "hard" characteristics. In fact, these characteristics are the refuge of those who lack the strength (or the skills) to apply the human side of leadership.

3) How about you? How would you rate yourself as a leader compared to the list of positive characteristics? If you were to survey the people who report to you, how would they describe your ? Would they list characteristics from the "soft" list or from the "hard" list? Could you become more effective by improving upon any of the "soft" characteristics? And how about the other leaders in your organization? Do they truly maximize human potential?

People want leaders who treat them with genuine compassion, courtesy, and respect. They want leaders who help them become more successful. They want leaders who inspire them with a vision for a better world and show them how to go there.

Using the Law of Attraction to Lose Weight and Be Fit

All You Need to Know about the Law of Attraction

You already know everything you need to know about the law of attraction. Its a simple phrase youve heard 1,000 times: like attracts like.

Oftentimes people complain about negative or unexpected things that happen to them--they become ill, they fall down and injure themselves, or they receive an unkind note from their neighbor. Sometimes we get just the opposite of what we want, which makes us feel powerless. Thats because we completely overlook the law of attraction. In other words, if we want to be healthy but we think like hypochondriacs, were going to get sick. If we want people to be nice to us but we act like jerks, people are going to avoid us or go out of their way to make things difficult for us. Thoughts, emotions and actions are simply powerful conduits for energy, and energy manifests in outcomes according to its vibration. Positive energy attracts positive outcomes, and negative energy attracts negative outcomes.

You Can Always Count on the Law of Attraction

The law of attraction never fails. Perhaps it appears to have failed on the surface, because you get just the opposite of what you expected or hoped for. That simply means that your underlying thoughts and emotions initiated the law of attraction to trump your expectations.

To make the law of attraction work to your benefit, first you must be very clear about what you want in your life. Mentally focus on areas that you want to change. Clearly visualize that which you do want. The stronger your mental focus and desire, the stronger the law of attraction.

Do some mental housekeeping. Shine a flashlight into those dark corners of your negative emotions. Dont be afraid; negative emotions are just a part of being human. What do they convey? What are you trying to avoid? What negative fundamental beliefs do you harbor? Figure out what has led to your negative emotions. Be clear about what you do not want in your life. Now write down these negative emotions.

Now transform these negative emotions by rephrasing them as positive affirmations. Transform Im afraid Ill never have enough money to The universe showers me with plentitude! Transforming your negative thoughts and emotions into positive ones plugs into the power of the law of Attraction. Your mind is your core power for channeling the law of attraction in the right direction that you want it to manifest!

Maybe Money CAN Buy Happiness

Are you happy? Many of us are not sure about that. Happiness also can not be defined so easily. Try this quiz and find out if you are happy? Are you happy? Also try this - Do you try to make everyone happy? Most of us are not living happily. That is the curse of modern age. Try and make yourself as happy as possible amongst all the stresses and tensions.

What is happiness? When I say that I am feeling happy, it may mean that I just got something that I love. That makes me happy. Have you ever seen at the photographs of people who have won a big lottery? They look so happy. Meet them after few years, when they have already spent all their money, and you will find the same person very unhappy. A married couple looks happy while getting married. Meet them after few years in the Divorce court and you will know that happiness was not their nature, but only a reaction to circumstances.

Can we remain happy at all times? It is difficult, but one can surely try. Decide to smile and feel happy at all the times. Even if you learn that you have suffered a big loss, be happy. Sounds foolish? But this can be done. And no amount of unhappiness will ever get you the money back. But under all conditions will give you the confidence and strength to fight against all the odds and come out as a winner.

Ways to crank up your Creativity

The Top 10 Secrets of Creatively Successful People
2002 by Merlyn Sanchez

1. Creativity takes time and silent space. It is best to schedule time daily or at least weekly to allow yourself time to develop your creativity.

2. There are cycles of creativity. We are not always in a harvesting phase there will be times when you feel as if nothing is happening. Don't become concerned.

3. Select mentors, friends and dream partners wisely. A sad, but true, fact is that not everyone (sometimes even those closest to you) will support your dreams. You don't have to sever any ties, just carefully select the members of your creative team.

4. Commit to yourself. Overcoming guilt is a big factor in unleashing creativity. It may mean having a messy house or not over committing.

5. Set strong boundaries. Choose your commitments carefully. To paraphrase Oprah Winfrey - "I say No to many things, so that I may say Yes to what gives me life."

6. Work from your strengths. We have a tendency to focus on our weaknesses and spend enormous amounts of time trying to "improve". The reality is that were you to spend 80% of your effort to become good at a weakness you might improve that area by 20%. But if you were to spend that same 80% of your effort to improve an area of strength, you might improve it by 100% or more!

7. Fear is a companion of creativity. Make friends with fear. You will probably feel fear when you venture out into unfamiliar territory. Expect it and redefine it as energy so you can move on.

8. Stop criticizing yourself. Stay positive about your performance. Yes, you can polish it and improve, but focus on the fact that you are taking action in the first place.

9. Get over perfectionism. A tough one! You will rarely try anything new if you only stick to the things you have already mastered.

10. Play, have fun, feel joyful! Creativity is about play. When you do the things you love and abandon yourself to your feelings of joy, you know you've found your highest expression of Creativity.

Gratitude + the Law of Attraction = Plentitude

How to Use the Law of Attraction to Create Better Relationships

Relationships take a lot of work. Even if the two nicest people in the world enjoy a relationship together, sooner or later theyre going to get on each others nerves. You can use the law of attraction to your benefit whenever your relationship hits a bumpy spot. But by utilizing the powerful law of attraction, you can navigate bumpy spots in your relationship with ease--as well as keeping a healthy relationship going strong!

The Law of Attraction: Give, and You Shall Receive

It can be disheartening when our partners disappoint us. We may fear that they are no longer the person we fell in love with. But really they are--theyre just human, thats all. Everyone makes mistakes and has bad days. You can use the law of attraction to get back that person you fell in love with; just picture your partner being the loveable, fun, kind person he or she is capable of being.

On the other hand, if you harbor resentment in your heart, the law of attraction will render you and your partner like opposing ends of a magnet--you will repel from one another! If you keep score and constantly think of what a buffoon your partner is, the law of attraction will make only disharmony continue to erupt between you. Likewise, if you withhold physical affection such as hugs or kisses, the tension between the two of you will only escalate, according to the law of attraction. You must give love to receive love. If youre only sending out negative vibes, you will likewise only receive negative vibes in return.

Rather, shower affection on your partner. According to the law of attraction, when you give love, you receive love. Love transforms even the grumpiest of people. Love can be in the form of a hug, a back rub or an ecard--or all of the above! It only takes a few minutes to show love. When you initiate the law of attraction, your partner will again become the person you fell in love with in no time!

You can even utilize the law of Attraction to keep a healthy relationship going strong. Regularly picture you and your partner laughing together and sharing love, especially when youre showing physical affection, such as hugging. Better yet, picture you and your partner having fun together when youre old! The law of attraction will help you reap a healthy, happy and fun relationship that lasts the rest of your lives.

The Land of Betwixt and Between, an Exercise in Creativity

Copyright 2005 Writer's Eye Advisory ServiceCultivating your creativity is more than spending time with a hobby or performing and displaying your work. Cultivating your creativity takes time, awareness and deliberate action. Creativity like any other skill, needs to be nurtured and affirmed, as well as directed, in order to expand throughout your life. Creativity crosses all barriers, cultures, even when styles differ and philosophies change. Creativity never changes. Its time to put away those past negative influences, including no more starving artist scenarios. Lets explore what Creativity really is.REASON ONE: Creativity is born in movement, be it physical, intellectual, enmotional or spiritual or any combination thereof. When you perceive change going on in your life , some part of the creative process is on the move.REASON TWO: Training yourself to create art regularly contributes significantly to making an idea work by exploring, expanding, building, performing or sharing it.REASON THREE The creative process takes time. However, it can be structured and directed. You can finish your creative projects on or before your deadline. REASON FOUR: Creativity stretches your comfort zone. Practicing a creative skill, takes time, concentrated effort and consistent work. I know that I feel angry as I progress through the first phrase of the creativity process. I struggle to admit that I need to practice, that I dont know everything, that I dont need help and that in spite of these thoughts, I can still make progress using my skills. I am not comfortable when I fail to meet my expectations. When I complete one creative project. I know that Ive done a good job. My next challenge is to patiently repeat the first phase of mechanical learning for as long as it takes, to complete my next job. My reward is to become more comfortable using my creative skills ,over and over again.REASON FIVE: Creativty is fun. I love looking at numerous possibilities. Its wonderful to be able to freely interpret and produce a creative product.

Word to the wise if you are web design developer

Positioned For Success... The Refined Art Of Taking A Chance
By Josh Hinds
(c) 2004

ARE YOU IN... OR OUT?

Are you in or out of your comfort zone, that is?

Remember a simple principle: action leads to results.

One decision.
One small action.
One step outside of the comfort zone...

Can be the beginning of a series of decisions and actions that lead to a better lifestyle, a feeling of "I can do this," and a host of other possibilities.

SO WHY NOT TAKE A "STRETCH BREAK"?

A stretch break for success.
A small "break away" from your comfort zone into the world of personal responsibilities.

Much to you,

What is happiness?

Can money buy happiness? It's easy to say no, and probably correct, but that's just a way to stop thinking about the tougher issues. What is your relationship to money, for example, and how do you use this most powerful of worldly tools?

Maybe you see that chasing after money for its own sake is destructive, but isn't it equally damaging to have such a powerful instrument in your hands while pretending it has no importance?

Money Is Important

Some say that money isn't important to them, but this isn't true. The truth is they don't see the importance. They make more than they need and yet complain they have no time for their children, when they could trade time chasing money for time with their kids.

They want self-improvement, but instead of buying the tools to help them (a book, a class, a trip to a monastery) they put $800 televisions on credit cards. Then they work to pay for it all, taking even more time from their children and their own personal development.

It's not about televisions. They can be good things. It's about priorities. How we make money and how we spend money reveals ourselves. Do we like what we see? Money IS important, isn't it?

Happiness

So, can money buy happiness? Well, it can help put the right conditions in place. Is it easier to be happy if you have food to eat? Whether you call that buying or not, the understanding is more important than the argument.

Name any valuable goal or direction in your life. Can't you, with a little imagination, see how money might help? Earn your money in a healthy, satisfying way, and spend it wisely, and of course you have a better chance to be happy. Clearly, we need a deeper understanding of this than a cliche can provide.

Identifying Candidates for Leadership

Using the Law of Attraction to Create Better Relationships

How to Use the Law of Attraction to Lose Weight and Be Fit

The very first step to losing weight and becoming fit is to harness the power of the law of attraction. And you harness the power of the law of attraction simply within your very own mind! Most people, especially women, hold a body image of themselves in their minds that does not correlate with reality. In other words, we usually picture ourselves as bigger than we really are. And this puts the law of attraction in gear to literally make us fatter!

The Law of Attraction Physically Exists within the Human Body

Neural scientists have discovered that human thoughts and reactions release specific chemicals in the brain. These chemicals are then distributed to every last cell in the body. Then the chemicals fuse with proteins to literally produce the physical manifestation of the thought. In other words, if you think Im fat, the law of attraction sets up chemical reactions within your body that will literally make you fat! The hypothalamus in the human brain releases neuro-peptides as a byproduct of thinking particular thoughts. When cells are regularly bombarded with the same neuro-peptide over and over again, they become addicted to it. Then you notice in the mirror that youve gained weight, and you think Im fat! Then the vicious cycle repeats. When cells divide and multiply, the new cells created have more receptor sites for the addictive, negative neuro-peptide and fewer for healthy nutrients. This is the law of attraction literally at work within your body! (Source: From the movie What the Bleep Do we Know?)

To use the law of attraction to lose weight and be fit, you must first stop thinking negative thoughts about your body and insulting it aloud--whether thats by yourself in front of the mirror or to others. Then you must channel the law of attraction by thinking positive thoughts about your body and showering yourself with compliments. Look in the mirror and say, Im beautiful! Even if you dont believe it at first, say it anyway. In no time at all, the law of attraction will show you the beautiful person you really are in the mirror. Picture how you want yourself to look--be realistic. Models on magazine covers often have eating disorders, they have breast implants, and their cellulite has been airbrushed away. Use the law of attraction to see yourself with toned muscles and a lean figure.

Of course, the law of attraction needs a little physical help from you so that you lose weight even faster. You cant sit on the couch all day eating Quarter Pounders and Biggie Fries and expect the law of Attraction to work at its best! You must back up the law of attraction with a nutritious and delicious diet, plus daily exercise.

The Flexible Leadership Workshop

NATURAL SUCCESS HOW DO WE ACHIEVE IT

People who want to achieve success in their lives and are committed to Self Improvement know the value of setting goals and making workable plans for their realisation. These are essential steps to success. If you need any guidance with goal setting techniques or planning, there are many invaluable tools available from Self Improvement Experts that can really help.

Perseverance and determination are also essentials for success. But an equally important success skill is the ability to change your plans, or even abandon them completely if necessary.

One thing we can be sure of is that things rarely go according to plan. Even with the best planning, the unexpected can and probably will happen. Things beyond our control can make our plans unworkable. Or our plans may not actually be working.

Its easy to become so involved and attached to our goals and plans that we may not even be aware this is happening. Sometimes, even if we are aware, we may not be prepared to accept that we arent getting the expected results.

We if we are serious about success we definitely shouldnt just give up - many people have missed out on reaching their goals because they gave up too soon. But we cant afford to be dogmatic either. We must be prepared to be flexible and adapt our plans to changing circumstances if necessary.

What is Happiness? Can it Be Defined?

Happiness is something that so many people strive for each day and yet many times it eludes them. Often, they feel that happiness can be theirs if only their situations were different. Have you ever felt like that?

So often we get caught up in what I call the if onlys. If only my husband were nicer to me. If only I had a better job. If only the children were grown and out of the house. The list can go on and on.

We can waste so much of our precious time dreaming of the if onlys. So many people fall into this trap and end up miserable most of their lives.

The problem is that they are looking for happiness to come to them somehow. As if it were something that could be possessed. When happiness does happen to come it seems so fleeting that it quickly passes away.

People erroneously think that happiness is just a feeling like some passing fancy. I am here to tell you that happiness is not a feeling, it can be a way of life. Happiness can be yours on a daily basis if you will only follow some basic principles.

First, you must live in the NOW. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised to us so you need to be present in the now.

Secondly, you must control your thinking and the thoughts that pass through your mind. Happiness can be called a state of mind and the way to happiness is bringing your mind into its proper state.

If I live in Texas and I want to be in California I need to change states. In order for me to be in that State I need to make some changes. In this analogy we will decide to take a train. The train must be going in the proper direction and we will arrive at our destination. We must know which train we are on, or we may end up where we dont want to be.

Think of this train as your thoughts. Thats right, your train of thought. If you dont want to stay in Texas you have to get on the right train. If you let any train of thought into your mind then you will be taken to and fro and never arrive at the destination you want.

The question then is how do we get on the right train?

The ticket to getting on the right train is called gratitude. Gratitude is an attitude and as we look to all that we have to be thankful for instead of dwelling on what our problems are we will find that we too can be whisked away to the state that we wish to be in.

There is a path to and that path is gratitude.

Weight Loss Motivation Tips and Strategies!

Want to hear about a simple & effective motivation technique?

Itll help you get motivated and stay motivated.

Do you want to know the key to beating procrastination and
achieving much more?

Let me tell you how I discovered the secret to achieving
massive success...

I had some work to do yesterday and I kept putting it off.

I thought to my self - Ill wait until later when I feel
more alert and in the right frame of mind to do it just
right

Do you ever do this?

Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. If I wait for the
perfect moment I will be waiting a very long time.

With that in mind I just got started. I took the pressure
off and stopped insisting that I create a perfect piece of
work.

The endless pursuit of perfection and the craving for total
and complete success at everything you do is a trap.

A dangerous trap. And the opposite of a motivation technique.

Why?

Because it will stop you from getting started. And
beginning is sometimes all you need to do to ensure success.

When you get the ball rolling, the gathering momentum will
keep you going. You will stay motivated and drop procrastination.

Listen to this for a motivation technique that works....

Last week - I read an interview with a world-class marathon
runner who has run some tough races including ones where
he ran a marathon a day each day for a week or more at a
time.

When asked how he could take on such enormous physical and
mental challenges without feeling overwhelmed he gave a
simple answer.

He said he never thinks about it in terms of running a 26
mile race instead he focuses on taking one step.

And then another, and another...

Take one step at a time.

Complete it and then take on one more step. Do this
and you can achieve some spectacular results.

So you see.

Even a simple motivation technique can work wonders!

Is he/she honest in what they say or I should be careful? The mind gets bombarded with questions. The situation becomes so trouble some for some of us that we get tired and say- no more dating for me.

We date a person because we are looking for a partner. Many of us may not marry the partner but we still look for long-term relationship. For that we must begin with asking about the kind of person who will be right for us. Otherwise the whole purpose is lost. Let us look at the qualities we must look for in our prospective partner.

Similarities in thinking, attraction towards each other, common values and political views and same approach towards various life situations are some of the areas we must investigate before we zero upon a person.

Attraction towards each other- if you are not attracted to the other person, nothing will work. Attraction can be of much types- physical attraction, attraction towards intellectual ability, attraction to the personality and so on. Analyze your attraction and decide if that will last for at least five years. If you think that you will no more be attracted to the person after some months, do not go ahead. Many times we are very much attracted towards a person. But after sometime the attraction wanes. This happens with physical attraction most often. You like somebody's features and body build. After some moths, you find nothing new or attractive in that body. Why that happens is a subject for psychiatrists and psychologists to decide.

In this part, we have looked at Attraction. In the second part we will look more at and other aspects of a long-term relationship.

Ways to crank up your Creativity

What is happiness?

Can riches buy happiness? Wealth can buy many luxuries, but not happiness. Money cannot buy contentment. Money can surely buy us time with a psychiatrist with who we can talk about our unhappiness, but no amount of money can buy us happiness. Sometimes more money, and status can rob us of happiness. Think of many very rich people. They cannot move around like ordinary citizens. They will be immediately stared at. They have lost a lot of freedom in quest of money and fame.

What gets us happiness? We get happiness by doing what we like. We do not get happiness by forcing us to do what we do not want to do. Our happiness comes from our satisfaction of doing our heart felt desires. Our contentment comes from that. Money can destroy friendships, and break family relations. The more money you have, the more people expect from you. If you refuse, your relationship goes downhill. Sometimes I wonder if we have more than our minimum requirement of money, will we be happy at all?

If you have a giving nature, money can buy you happiness of a different kind. When you visit an orphanage, and are able to donate as much as they want to feed the small kids, you will feel a sense of genuine . Money can make you do good things in life that make others happy. When you make others happy, you become happy.
Money can help you do that. No expensive dinner can make you feel as happy as the smile on the face of parents to whom you have given money for their childrens medicine.

Top Five Reasons to Cultivate Your Creativity

We're born creative. However, this innate characteristic becomes buried as we get older. Our logical left brain usually takes the driver's seat. Here are 5 ways to help you unearth your creative self.

1. Surprise Your Mind. List laughable, ridiculous, outrageous and bizarre ideas. Don't limit yourself to ideas that other people consider "sane," "reasonable" or "logical." The best and most creative ideas stem from silly ones. When you're in a creative mode, you're suspending judgment on ideas you generate. You simply list them all down and never worry whether they make sense or not. Allow yourself the freedom to think outside the box.

2. Aim for Quantity. Generate loads of ideas for you to go through later. It's normal that your first few ideas wont really be fresh. The gems will come out later so its important to keep going. With a large list of ideas, you'll have more to choose from, adapt or combine. Creativity is not coming up with something new from nothing; creativity is the ability to create something novel from ideas/things that already exist by combining, improving or refining them.

3. Be Playful. A relaxed and playful attitude fosters creativity. Those creative juices flow best when you're not restrained by your logical, left brain. Toy with ideas and forget about being too careful. Be a child again and play.

4. Believe that Everything has a Solution. An optimistic outlook always leads to solutions, no matter how impossible a problem or task may be. Often when a solution can't be found, all that's needed is for the problem to be redefined. Or when you think you're stumped, surprise your mind with silly solutions then work backwards, leading to the original problem. Cultivate an attitude of continuing search for solutions.

5. Let Go of Your Fear of Failure. Don't expect to do something perfectly for the first time. Thomas Edison tried about 1800 things for the perfect filament for the incandescent lamp. Fear of failure is one of the major factors that can hinder your . Instead of looking at failed attempts negatively, look at your failures as learning opportunities. Failing isn't fun, but neither is doing nothing.

Josh Hinds
